The new British standard for translation quality, BS EN 15038…
Abi wrote an article for the ITI Bulletin (the journal of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting) which was published in the November - December 2007 issue.
The piece is about the new translation quality standard - BS EN 15038 - and the reactions of the UK translation industry to this new standard.
Whilst Freeman Williams have kept a close eye on the standard's progress, we have taken the decision not to work towards certification as yet. The article gives some of the background to our decision.

We’ve moved!
Freeman Williams are pleased to tell you that we have now relocated to our new, larger premises near to Derby city centre.
We are now based in The College Business Centre on Uttoxeter New Road. The College was built in 1850 to train school mistresses.
This has been an exciting move for us as we are confident that the increased space and facilities will better meet the needs of our expanding business.
See where we are now…
